The Seattle Mariners
Last season was a game-changer for the Seattle Mariners. They made it all the way to the playoffs and got a great result. Their new rookie Julio Rodriguez had a significant breakout season, and it looks like he’s going to get his hands on the American League Rookie of the Year Award with 25 stolen bases and 25 home runs.
They have reached the World Series for the first time since 2001. They’ve also just acquired two new key players: Kolten Wong and Teoscar Hernandez. So, everything is looking like we’re going to see a lot more from the Seattle Mariners this season.
The Milwaukee Brewers
One of the teams that are almost always underrated is the Milwaukee Brewers. But this season might be different. There are several things indicating that the season could be the one to make the Milwaukee Brewers awake from their slumber. Obviously one of the major reasons for this prediction is the almost incomparable pitching duo. Corbin Burnes and Brandon Woodruff could be the ones making all the difference this season.
If Burnes continues like he did last season, he will continue to be one of the best pitchers in the entire MLB. And then we mustn’t forget Jesse Winker, Abraham Toro, Wade Miley, Owen Miller, Bryse Wilson, and William Contreras who are all great players that could potentially make this a great season for the Brewers.
The Chicago Cubs
The Cubs are looking into a season that might be fundamentally different from the previous one. They’ve made a lot of changes in the offseason. They’ve added the great players Cody Bellinger, Brad Boxberger, Dansby Swanson, Jameson Taillon, Tucker Barnhart, and Eric Hosmer to the team. It’s been quite hard not to notice the Cubs this off-season. Not only because of their many new additions to the teams but also because of their farewells to two of their major stars. Both Jason Heyward and Willson Contreras have left the team this off-season.
So, the lineup is completely revamped, and they’ve gotten some extra great players on the teams. Perhaps this is the season where things are going to change for the Chicago Cubs. It’s going to be interesting to follow all three teams this season. From where we’re standing now, it certainly looks like this season could be the game-changer for these three teams allowing them to shine.
